Gjallarhorn EU AI Act Article 55 Copyright Policy
Effective Date: March 2026
LLM-Generated Classifier Outputs
Ownership of Outputs:
- All outputs generated by the Gjallarhorn L3 classifier (Mistral3 via Infomaniak SA) from customer-provided system prompts are the property of the customer.
- Gjallarhorn claims no intellectual property rights over these outputs, regardless of the legal uncertainty surrounding AI-generated content in any jurisdiction.
Downstream Obligations:
- Gjallarhorn instructs its sub-processor, Infomaniak SA (Switzerland), to respect copyright reservations and opt-out signals consistent with EU AI Act Article 55 obligations on Mistral AI as a General Purpose AI (GPAI) provider.
- Infomaniak SA has confirmed compliance with these obligations in its Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with Gjallarhorn.
Training Data Policy:
- Gjallarhorn does not use customer scan content for training or fine-tuning of the Mistral3 model.
- The Mistral3 model's training data is governed by Mistral AI / Infomaniak published summaries, available at Infomaniak AI Training Data Transparency.
Scope of This Policy:
- This policy applies solely to outputs generated by the L3 classifier (Mistral3).
- The L1 regex scanner produces deterministic outputs that do not involve LLM-generated content and are therefore not subject to this policy.
